We are excited by the news that leaders of the Senate Banking Committee and House Financial Services Committee plan to make a serious push to try and move a capital markets package before the end of the year.
This is our wheelhouse and we plan to monitor all developments related to this legislation closely.
To that end, we have prepared a Special Report that looks comprehensively at Congress’s efforts to enact Legislation to promote capital formation the jobs act to 2012 through two today. The report the report also takes a detailed look at the policy proposals that are being considered presently. While the discussion draft is from September, conversations this week with Banking Committee staff confirm that it reflects most of what is on the table.
